The Mindfulness Challenge
The Mindfulness Challenge is a unique fundraiser that supports Meditation for Mental Health in Toronto. Guided by some of Toronto's best meditation and yoga teachers, it's a great way for beginners to dive in, and for experienced meditators to ride the wave of so many people practicing together. Bring your cushions, come sit, connect with others and help build a more compassionate world.
All funds raised will help bring mindfulness for mental health programs to marginalized people who live with depression, anxiety and other mental health challenges.
Building a compassionate world
Hosted by the Centre for Mindfulness Studies, it will is being held at Daniel's Spectrum, Sunday Oct 30, from 11:00-3:00. The day will include:
- gentle yoga
- mindful lunch (provided)
- walking meditation
- total relaxation (lying down meditation bringing compassion to the body)
- music meditation
Get Fitted at the Challenge
For those who would like to learn how to sit comfortably, you can signup for a free Sitting Fitting before you start the Challenge from 10:00-10:45. We'll help you try different sitting postures and cushions so you get comfy before you sit.
